Rachel has been passionate about working with young people for
some time. Her natural leadership skills were well exercised as she
led peers in netball, debating and tutoring teams at school.
Outside of school she displayed a high level of community
involvement which included participation in Bible studies at her
church, attending a local Theocratic Ministry school, as well as
Tongan Language classes.
Dave Christie, Head of Logistics at the time at Warehouse

Foundation - to find a student with untapped potential who makes a
positive influence to benefit her community. We chose Rachel
because she clearly has heaps of untapped potential. She has
demonstrated immense drive and commitment to date."
With the aim of becoming a Pediatrician, Rachel is currently
studying a Bachelor of Health Science at The University of
Auckland. Rachel is aware that in her current academic and
extracurricular pursuits she can continue being a role model for
other young people, namely her 5 brothers and 3 sisters.
