Nisha is not afraid to put in the effort to achieve results to
be proud of. While still at high school, Nisha balanced involvement
in sports, the Indian cultural group and Multicultural committee,
amongst other things, with schoolwork and part time work to help
contribute to family finances. Academically, Nisha excelled at
Accounting and Business Studies. She had ambitions to become a
Chartered Accountant.
Sean Preston, National Manager at ASB Bank Cards had this to say in
regards to their scholarship selection: "Nisha stood out because of
her bright, positive personality, her well-rounded activities, and
her absolute commitment to succeed." Nisha established an
outstandingly strong relationship with her Scholarship Partner
ASB.
Nisha went on to develop her talent for managing finances with
conjoint degrees in Commerce and Property. She graduated from The
University of Auckland in 2011. Holding on to her dream to become a
Chartered Accountant, Nisha is currently building on her tertiary
training and her foundations at ASB and is working full time in
ASB's Accounts and Settlements department.
