Nicole's achievements, talents and confident ambition make her is a fine role model for her eight siblings and for her peers. Her cheerful, friendly, courteous and caring personality reflects a joy and fullness that has repeatedly seen her perservering through challenging circumstances for herself and family.

At school, Nicole's academic strengths were in Science and English and in 2008 she was awarded Top Achievement in English for her Year. Also in 2008, Nicole's efforts were recognised with the Certificate of Excellence award. While still at school Nicole played in top soccer teams and in 2008 she was Player of the Year, Top Goal Scorer and Most Improved Player. In addition to her love for soccer, Nicole displayed talent in equestrian.  Furthermore, she developed skills as a team leader and volunteer at Ambury Park's riding sessions for people with a range of disabilities.

Nicole's interest in animals and her love for Science see her studying a Bachelor of Veterinary Science at Palmerston North's Massey University. She dreams of one day opening her own veterinary practice and animal sanctuary to rescue and re-home abandoned and traumatised animals.
