Nicole's achievements, talents and confident ambition make her
is a fine role model for her eight siblings and for her peers. Her
cheerful, friendly, courteous and caring personality reflects a joy
and fullness that has repeatedly seen her perservering through
challenging circumstances for herself and family.
At school, Nicole's academic strengths were in Science and
English and in 2008 she was awarded Top Achievement in English for
her Year. Also in 2008, Nicole's efforts were recognised with the
Certificate of Excellence award. While still at school Nicole
played in top soccer teams and in 2008 she was Player of the Year,
Top Goal Scorer and Most Improved Player. In addition to her love
for soccer, Nicole displayed talent in equestrian.
Furthermore, she developed skills as a team leader and
volunteer at Ambury Park's riding sessions for people with a range
of disabilities.
Nicole's interest in animals and her love for Science see her
studying a Bachelor of Veterinary Science at Palmerston North's
Massey University. She dreams of one day opening her own veterinary
practice and animal sanctuary to rescue and re-home abandoned and
traumatised animals.
