Brooke comes highly recommended from Taita
College, with Leadership Coordinator, Emma Henderson having the
following to say: 'Brooke sparkles. She is a socially mature young
lady who is easily able to relate to people from different
cultures, age groups and backgrounds. Her sense of humour is a
strong quality that allows her to always see the good in a
situation. She is entirely dedicated, enthusiastic and capable. She
sets herself high standards and in her time at Taita College has
worked towards achieving these goals. In a sentence, Brooke would
grab this opportunity with both hands and use it as a chance to
make an incredibly positive mark on the world. ' In 2009, Brooke
achieved NCEA Level 1 with 122 credits. She placed 2nd in Drama and
3rd in English and Physical Education. She also excels in oral
presentations and public speaking.
Brooke is highly involved in the life of her school. She is a
member of the Senior 1 Tennis team, captains the 3rd Badminton
team, is President of the Amnesty International Group and a Peer
Mediator. Outside of school she works in Customer Service at
Wholesale cars direct and is heavily involved in her Church. She is
a member of the Community-based outreach, 'Christians against
poverty.'
At the completion of NCEA Level 3, Brooke wishes to study Law at
Victoria University with the hope of becoming a prosecution lawyer
working with the Department of Justice.
