Responsibilities include:
- one full day of initial Mentor Training
- a minimum two year commitment (scholarship is 4
years)
- meeting at least monthly with your Scholar and being in regular
phone/email/text contact during the month
- meet with your Scholar's family within 2 months of the
scholarship commencement
- attending Mentor development sessions
- complete quarterly online feedback reports on contact and
progress being made in your mentoring relationship with your
Scholar
- communicate regularly with Mentor Programme Coordinator and
assist in resolving any problems or difficulties that may arise
amongst any or all of the parties
- participate in First Foundation, Scholar and Mentor
activities and networking events as appropriate, and
convenient
- support the Executive Team as required, in particular
communicating to your Scholar with respect to upcoming events,
instructions and requests
- participate in an Annual Scholarship Review
- work with the General Manager to identify and improve any
issues in the programme
- contribute to First Foundation's quarterly newsletter, other
communications and promotional opportunities as appropriate
- be aware of Scholar obligations and responsibilities as
outlined in the Scholarship Letter of Agreement and assist with
compliance of these requirements
